Our Story

Established in 1961, Sturdi-Built Buildings, LLC is the oldest locally owned post-frame builder in Central Illinois. With roots in Charleston, Illinois from 1961–2021 and now proudly based in Sullivan under owner Larry Herschberger, Sturdi-Built Buildings, LLC represents nearly six decades of trusted post-frame construction. Today, that legacy lives on in roughly 20,000 buildings across Central Illinois and beyond, showcasing the quality and durability that define Sturdi-Built Buildings, LLC.
