Our Story

Established in 1961, Sturdi-Built, LLC is the oldest locally owned post-frame builder in Central Illinois. With roots in Charleston, Illinois from 1961–2021 and now proudly based in Sullivan under owner Larry Herschberger, the Sturdi-Built name represents nearly six decades of trusted post-frame construction. Today, that legacy lives on in roughly 20,000 buildings across Central Illinois and beyond.
